Pretty much all I watch on Discovery are Mythbusters, Dirtiest Jobs, and Deadliest Catch.

None of the other shows really call out to me.

Oh yeah, that snake island thing too, but it's not listed on their all shows page

I watch more H2, Science, and Military channels. Pretty sure they are owned by the same people as History and Discovery. Still more documentary and informative centric shows instead of the dramas.

Agreed. History used to be my go-to channel. Now I rarely even bother to see what's on. Its almost always something about pawning things, searching for things to pawn, or aliens.

I did love "Alone" though. Tried to sign up to be on season two, but procrastinated too much.

ya i agree - not into those area 51 deals, but there are some solid shows such as Alone. sammy you gotta go for it for season 3. maybe start off on naked and afraid. you'd be a great personality for that

Ahh OK, in my opinion, national geographic tends to be of higher quality however you need a more premium package to get the channel so that may exclude some people here.

Glad to know I am no longer missing much. I used to always watch Discovery.

I refuse to pay for satellite (subscription prices for non subscription networks) here. It is kinda ridiculous to expect to pay for only free networks, when I could go through hassles of watching them on-line for free.

The one thing that does drive me nuts with these shows is the way they repeat things. It's like you're watching, they go to a commercial, and when they return from the commercial they repeat the last 2 minutes you watched. Thank God for Tivo.
