Another big step is wrapping up -- getting the mobile template together.

You can now access the game from http://mobile.earthempires.com or http://m.earthempires.com

These domains are designed be more friendly to mobile devices, with simpler pages and mobile-friendly navigation.

There are TWO menu types for mobile users, which can be set in your preferences.

The default type is a dropdown menu, which has a list of the game's pages in a dropdown box and is made for for easy navigation with 'higher end' phones. If you have JS enabled, selecting a new element will automatically make your mobile browser go to that page.

The other type is text menus, which displays the ingame menus at the top of the page. This is meant more for users with older devices, text browsers, or users who can't use the dropdown.

Also, you mobile users may notice your phones are using a lot less bandwidth while browsing the forums! NukEvil has implemented his own mobile template for the forums, which basically keeps mobile users from having to download those images at the top, replacing them with text hyperlinks instead!
