It goes without saying to me tho, that if this sorta thing is going to be the new breed of partisan politicking, that all investigations should reach a thorough a complete conclusion. Let the subpoenas fly. Let's find out who these assholes really are. I'm totally fine with that.
I don't recall it being used for political gain prior to the week before the 2016 election, but frankly i think it's part of the game now. If you're not hammering your opponents with investigations you just aren't US politicking correctly.
