Yes there would have been another high techer there, and I would have finished at 50m or so if I didnt troll with an MBR switch. But it's becomming increasingly apparent that in the modern era of bots that techer isn't as good as it used to be.

I drew the short straw and got suicided on for some reason. Kind of disappointing because I was planning on trying a fun destock and this was also the first time so far that I had decent market conditions.

So techer came in third spot.......and 7th to 10th 🤔

Because if you actually play the set out and netgain on this server you beat the bots and most active players still live in the past in which techer was dominant. I suspect that will change slower than we would like if at all.

I was mainly referencing a comment made about techer probably not winning the round in the other thread. While techer did not win. Techer came in a lot of close winning spots.
(I probably should stick my foot in my mouth as I just looked at the scores more lol)

As Gerdler mentions though me and him could’ve finished up around the top. That would make the set dominated by techers and commies, which isn’t that the express standard?

So what a commie currently the best / powerful strat for express then Gerdler? I sold all set between $125-$155.

It’s was brutal to only buy up max Indy texture Sunday morning for my last 340 turns. Was at 120-130% for most of the round :(

Apparently Tech guy went casher... so 4 techers

There were only 11 players that beat the bots this set, so the other 50 players either warred, got suicided, went inactive or trolled all set.... There is literally no way to get under 17.5m NW on this server while trying to netgain... I have gotten 20m with 0cs and with tyranny casher. So there were 11 players who played the full reset netting and they were:

4 techers
3 farmers
2 cashers
2 indies

The two indies finished 1st and 2nd with 48m ANW
The four techers finished 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th with 26m ANW
The Farmers fnished 4th, 6th, 11th with 25m ANW
The Cashers finished 5th and 10th with 24m ANW

Given all this together with all strats finishing ahead of techer last set, can we just conclude that techer is no longer the dominant strategy for this server?
I'm not ready to say indy is dominant yet as no one seems to have made an effort on either casher or farmer yet but it certainly looks very strong.

I'm of the opinion that no player has gotten anywhere close to the maximum NW achievable by a farmer or casher in the current era. The evidence that I would offer would be all of my recent finishes. :)
