Reminder: the initial country for each player will receive 180 bonus turns at the start of the round. This increases the base number of turns in a round from 1805 to 1985. Players who create their initial country more than 36 hours after the round has begun may lose out on turns.

Awesome, any chance we can make the round finish a few hours later... Really hard here in Australia where the round always finishes at 10am on a Monday morning...

Which part is the problem? The day of the week or the time? 10:00 AM doesn't sound that bad considering if I move it back then it'll be the middle of the night for some of the European folks.

no matter how u change the timing it will affect some guy or another lol

like for me in singapore, the round ends at 8am monday morning which is like going to work timing.

so i just wake up slightly earlier and destock, missing out maybe 1hr or so.

I'm Singaporean (but living in the US now). Outside of Rob, I see at least 1 other Malaysian in Express (just from country names) so it's pretty interesting how many of us there are. Haha Are either of you from the region?

Oh yea, when I was first playing a long long time ago (late 90s early 2000s) I rem SEEING a ton of people playing it in Singapore. Haha I'd see it on computers everywhere (Earth and Utopia)!

I would love to go visit Kuala Lumpur one day, it is my favorite city name in the world, I have no clue what it means but it is got a beautiful ring to it, smooth to the ears, and I never looked it up in fear that the meaning of it might ruin my mental portrait of it :P

yeah that would be nice. starting on tuesday vs wednesday is almost the same. both are weekdays.

ending on sunday morning for us in asia would be easier than monday rush hour traffic/work

24 hours earlier might be slightly worse for me but not enough to matter. 2am sunday is better than 2am monday which is what it is at now. BUT it will mean that less of the set is played on the weekend which is usually when I have time to EE consistently and in a fashion that I dont just have to speed play.

I dont want to be up early on a Sunday morning to have to play :)

So i prefer the current schedule. Waking up early on Monday is a lot better as its a workday anyway.

I don't recall offhand but I feel like this is probably the reason the round falls this way currently. For Americans and Canadians, I think its a pretty ideal end time (Sunday evening around 7pm/8pm Eastern)... with some exceptions I'm sure.

I had a crazy idea that players could be allowed to toggle their round by up to 12 hours, so that different countries would run out of turns at different times. It would be weird but it did make me go hmm.

Thanks. So the worst was food at 7% of the time and the second worst was bus tech at 3% of the time.

The reasons are complicated. Demand can be very spiky on Express because people can play up to 360 turns at once. Right now tech is too cheap so I'm not surprised that it keeps getting bought out.

It's a problem that I'm working on. I know that it's not fun to try to play turns only to find no food on the public market.
