Gj edging me out Gerdler. That last day was a huge reversal of fortune with military going from steaming trash to insane high prices with all the big players jumping. Cost me quite a bit.

Was a tricky set.
Tech was expensive for so long and then it just crashed on the last day, military was the opposite.
And bots were always so deep in DR (too many fat countries this set)

I overslept, but wouldn't have been a good finish anyway.

Any indication when seasonal leaderboards are coming in?

Many many fat countries this set and interesting market. It does feel like the market depends on the player strategy mix again - not just how to "exploit bots".

Tech market was silly. I don't really mind the military market being really low as it was quite liquid, I got my stuff sold, even tho the prices were so low I had to sell on private more than a couple times during the round to play my turns. But the lack of affordable tech all the way to the end is just dumb.

I played a techer last set and theres no adaptation to this that comes to mind. If tech goes low like last set you can switch to MBR for the destock or do a logout and tech to the auto buy perhaps(its not going to make your NW a lot higher but its an adaptation that will somewhat save the market). If tech goes high like this set, which I guess no one really knew when they started stocking the optimal stocking acreage would have been higher. But since you dont know it when you start stocking you cant adapt in time, because grabbing 5k more acres after teching your first 300 turns isnt good at all, it has to be right away.

I finished with 22 stored turns due to oversleeping Sunday morning, if I had not done that I would have passed Rob in the t3 average leaderboards. :/

I sold military at $100 until the last day when $150 sold quick. I ended up buying the rest of my tech at almost 2k with ~7 hours left. Good thing I went ahead and bought it because indy tech was bought out later, lol.

So what’s everyone playing the next set?

So far since the changes I’ve a 100% hit rate of picking the wrong strats for the wrong sets. I go techer and tech is dirt cheap, Casher and tech is crazy expensive. Anyone want super cheap food next set?
