This is the first time I've seen food have a triple peak. Heh. Not even on Alliance have I seen it.

Not at all. All the big countries (that are not Commie Indies) buy from their huge Private Market at $261/NW (or $255 as Demo, or $222 as Theo).

For example, the large 80k acre countries mostly only need 1 to 1.5 days of private market regen + initial buyout to complete their jump; they do not touch the public market. Pretty much the top 20 finishing countries all have > 50k land other than the techers who jump earlier.

Public prices rarely go above $280/NW (before tax), and even if they do, it is usually only in the last hour and does not typically go above 285/NW.
