Oh, it's worse than it looks. gogy and I were about even so I figured I could weather a few ABs. Furano, I guess figuring it was going to pop off, grabbed me and I thought I better retal while I could. But I was a little short on money and oil. No problem, I had a bit over 1m spies, I'll just sell 100k. So I sell my spies, buy some oil and take my retal.

Except I didn't sell 100,000. I sold 1,000,000.

And then prices on jets and turrets dropped and my stuff just sat on the market.

Basically had no money and zero spies when gogy came at me.

I was hoping oil would drop lower in price but I was able to make it work. Sorry for the delayed FS but as techer I would've got wrecked and dealt minimal damage if I attacked earlier. I'm still gonna get wrecked(theo sdi sucks) but at least I dealt real damage.

You could've had an easy win Serp if you choose to only retal but you wanted to make a point about top feeding. On the flip side I always make a point about breaking GDI. As you said in pm's everyone is free to choose their own playstyle.

Time to see how much damage I can deal before I'm broke. Good luck rest of set

Everyone has there principles. Serp chose to double tap instead of just taking a retal on a fairly even trade. Serp wanted to make a statement and I responded.

Who cares about top 20. This is the only server I play where I haven't got a win yet but I've made top 10's including 2nd last set. Dropping some spots in final rankings is pretty meaningless.

Yeah man. I'm not upset at it, so nobody else should be either. This is strictly for fun. Our exchange was fairly close, but i wanted to show to the other top feeders that I will break GDI if I feel the need to. He's a good guy and don't hold any grudge, I just felt like a war and have some fun. Already got a top rank of 1 on the server, so the win doesn't really mean anything.

And don't be sorry for stockpiling and doing a fantastic FS... That kicked the crap outta my acreage. Wowzers!!!

MountainYeti, Serpentor, nice fireworks but even nicer posts exchange, congratulations to both on the fair play. Many players would have inundated this forum with cheap insults.

I go a bit with MountainYeti side; Serpentor, with quite a few top feeders smart asses that do deserve a double hit and potentially a war you picked the one that was bottom at the list of deserving it. The point remains that top feeder have no chance of winning and ultimately damage the server and should be made well aware of that.

Well I sold $2.5b worth of military to get back into humanitarian range, but that didn't last long. I think our skirmish may be done unless you got more stock pile. You nailed a really great FS, and at least it was nice to unload all my missiles.
