Because the USA doesn't like the result, therefore the elections are not legitimate. Don't you know what Democracy means? It means that the puppet the US government selects wins the election. If the US doesn't like the person who won the election, the process was not democratic. That's how the US defines democracy. And don't even get me started on how the US defines socialism...

Lmfao, you haven't been off the shores of America much I reckon.

If you two (blid & Rockman) believe Chavez and his Communist point of view are so great, then pack your bags and go experience it for few years !

I come from a Socialist country, you american left wingers are truly ignorant to the reality of wealth distribution, its a sham and a recipe for more poverty and government corruption, wake the fk up!
Mess with me you better kill me, or I'll just take your pride & joy and jack it up

I didn't say it was great, I said it was about the same as the other countries in the region. I don't support wealth redistribution, on the contrary, I oppose theft. But I oppose both the poor stealing from the rich AND the rich stealing from the poor.

Look at what the media says, I can't believe this is real life hahaha

http://www.npr.org/...ory.php?storyId=173521347
Chavez invested Venezuela's oil wealth into social programs including state-run food markets, cash benefits for poor families, free health clinics and education programs. But those gains were meager compared with the spectacular construction projects that oil riches spurred in glittering Middle Eastern cities, including the world's tallest building in Dubai and plans for branches of the Louvre and Guggenheim museums in Abu Dhabi.

Cash benefits for poor families, free health clinics, education programs... nothing compared to the world's tallest building! where WERE chavez's priorities? hahaha.

The percentage of people living in extreme poverty was 29.8% in 2003 and decreased to 12.5% in 2006, the year Venezuela officially met the first target of this goal.[64] The percentage of those living in extreme poverty continued declining and in 2011 was 6.8%.[65] The overall poverty index was 49% in 1998 and lowered to 24.2% in 2009.[66] In terms of unemployment, Venezuela has been able to lower the rate to 7.5% in 2009 in spite of the global financial crisis.[60]

venezuela has lower unemployment than the us lol

Well, just ask yourself "What Would Jesus Do?"

Would he build a tower of babel, or would he feed the hungry?
