The price doesn't matter too much since it is first in line with an asking price over the sale price. So set your upper limit and roll with it.
As for your example, all orders will buy goods priced lower than the order. if you set orders for 33, 34, and 35, the 33 anf 34 orders are worthless if some 35 comes through. But if some $33 comes through, whichever of your 3 orders was made first will snag it since $33 is equal to or lower to all 3 of your asking prices. I suppose they stay first in line for some 33 of 34 priced fluff when the 35 cycles back if you want to keep a lower order up front till it hits it's asking price, but is it worth it? Say you set 3 35s instead, you will snag the first 3 blocks that sale below 35 once you reach the front of the line, always.
Although i suppose at that point is is personal preference at that point and what exactly you are trying to accomplish. When I am transferring tech on FFA I will set all my orders for $1 more than the current highest order so I can be 100% sure that my countries will get my goods. That isn't really important on solo servers unless you are cheating.
I'm rambling now.
