Well glad I checked AT and then this board before I invested anymore time into this fluff hole. I was excited, we were in the midst of changing things for the better as players(we don't need your help qz or pang).

Way to put the final nail in the coffin before you get a mass influx of OGs come 2025.

I recruited someone in real life to enjoy this weird ass game with me and now I feel like a moron for even bringing it up.

Thanks for absolutely nothing, every change you guys have made to this game have been garbage (removing the 2b bug and ghost acres also garbage).

From the deepest of my cochles I hope this game dies. You never should have made a replica, now when I think back about how much I enjoyed this game and all the great people I've met I'm now left with a sour taste in my mouth.

Your returns are based on your acres, because someone shouldn't be able to run 101 turns and then nuke the highest country for 10k acres. That's silly. I told him the same thing. He can blame his alliance. I disagree completely with all of those changes to save the "tree huggers".

There's a reason people suicide and grief certain alliances and it's not because people are dumb and go off for no reason.

Everyone that's still here is here because they loved Earth 2025. All the changes such as the returns on nukes are why there's only a handful of people left.

If only the real world worked like that, we'd never have to worry about treating people like fluff that have substantially less GDP than us.

This is the best I can do without paying for the fluff. I'll post more about it when I get to work if anyone thinks this may be significant.

Most standards recommended for science and technology, led by ASTM E29, make use of the “five-even” rule. By this rule, for example, the value 76.50, rounded to the closest unit, becomes 76, to make the last significant digit of the outcome even. In the same manner, 89.50, rounded to the closest unit, becomes 90.

Just totally a random thought here but what if the rounding was done differently. I am a certified Michigan Aggregate Technician and we don't round numbers like math should.

Any odd number followed by a 5 is rounded normally. However any even number followed by a 5 is rounded down.

Example: 0.5 is rounded down to 0, but 1.5 is rounded up to 2.

That is only when there are no other numbers following said 5. 0.501 would round up to 1. I'm trying to find a link to the Michigan test method that explains slightly better I don't have my manual on me.

Not at all BH, but laf does need to meet the winners demands. Those demands have been stated and are known by LaF leadership. They will never agree to those demands so the song remains the same.

To be completely honest I didn't put much thought or effort into this was until I saw it's also about retal policies. Now I am 100% invested because that's VERY important to me.

Food production formula IS linked to max population and max pci. IMO having more people consumes more food but more productive/efficient people make more so it makes sense.

BlackHole you'll never be able to compete with these guys in their traditional sense. If you truly enjoy the game itself then play on solo servers or join a netting alliance here or on team.

It'd be a fun little experiment for the community here whether or not they can allow actual new players to enjoy the game.

You crossed a line when you crossed a server but I believe you didn't realize how badly you would be hated for it. I know the guys that hate you for what happened and I fully believe they would have no issues letting you continue here.

I feel completed having a small part in the downfall of Borg. I may have not orchestrated a damn thing but I am happy to get a bit of revenge on elders when we were backstabbed while attempting to create a non toxic server via ABC coalition.

IMO it'd make more sense for a UN type deal where you get paid some type of relief package after an earthquake or drought etc. Instead of a bonus, maybe just an optional thing like GDI that's cost $/acre with a bonus that makes joining it free?

What if you could burn oil to convert EMs into chen's or nukes? Makes sense if you don't think too hard about it and would make EMs and oil worth something after you take away the destock ability. =\

You could also possibly have an option to generate only certain units at an increased rate to help using this feature to stonewall. The fact that the only reasons this mechanic exists is solely for destock is kinda weird.

I just meant bonus turns in general. There are less turns in tourney so the 6 bonus turns per day make a huge difference. I'm no gerd but it also seems like the best possible bonus use is for turns as well in tourney, after free gdi.

Also it seems like you are awarding players that know the exact formula for bonus acres/turns as it is. I've logged in a bunch in tourney and had considerably less bonus acres than others.

Would it be too hard to award bonus turns that are based on the amount of turns in a given server? This change would give a very noticeable advantage to players in tourney, where it wouldn't make a huge difference in team or ffa.

Mysterious units/tech/building types. All of earth can get together to figure out how to defeat them.

I don't think this is worth pursuing because it completely eliminates the need for politics. You guys already gave the tree huggers everything they want.

Take all the effort you're putting into this project and give us a damn server with set to set rule changes.

Not too long ago all the alliances got together and made their own damn rules about engaging in warfare and it worked out great(EEWP?)

People run around all set with no defense because they want to stay in range of the bots so why not just remove AI humanitarians?

If you do choose to pursue this, you should make the bots willing and able to suicide themselves just so people have a reason to cry when their sand castle is kicked over
