Almost all my original losses were when I went on vacation during thanksgiving weekend, lol.
After that weekend, I think I was hit about 2000-2500 times and lost 2 countries.

Fair enough, will consider. Although we dislike 'friendly' wars, usually ends up not being friendly, and someone jumping early to hit.

As for Pan, they put up a good fight, cool fellows and gals over there. We have no plans on hitting them again anytime soon :D

Yep, sometimes some of our fellows need to cool down a lil bit, as you can see. They have no love for Maki, just a few too many drama things, and we aren't a fan of that.

As for OOP wars requiring no skill.. shame on you maki, do you think FS'ing from a 100 country advantage requires skill, specially with everyone saving up missiles?

Id put NBK's (at that time) 350 countries, as restarts against anyone's 450 countries as restarts.

Pan did outhit us that one day though.

Although saying a great number of 1.5mil -3mil countries is a bit of an exageration, they are mainly tagetting the 1mil range. Doing a pretty good job of it, sticking to series where people werent coming online.

Combine that with the fact Dark Twiz is not playing for a while, we have around 230 countries max or so, meanwhile pan was at 350 not too long ago, almost a hundred more then at start of war.

They are still putting up a good fight, and not to be underestimated.

Yep, Pan has outhit us over the previous day of gametime. Lots of us are saving up turns though, but Pan is still alive and kicking!

100 countries will beat 200 countries if you are dedicated enough, and willing to continue until they crumble. You fellows did get off to a pretty bad FS, but still lots you can do.

Old style FFA was killing until you ran outta turns efficiently. New style FFA is kill in under 45 seconds. If you tried a restart can survive 700+ attacks.

Never give up, never surrender...

Good ol galaxy quest.

Starting a war for principal, but giving up before it even really starts is not for principal.

It is almost like those pacifists, who are willing to stand in front of guns for their belief, and be martyrs. But in the end nowadays, you get shot standing there, or you can get shot trying to shoot them first.

You focus dudes, don't give up. Principle means nothing if you don't stick to it.

Agreed, those 300 hits were done by 3 people for about 95% of it.

When I set myself up to do it, I can do 300 in about 60 seconds on my own.

And we haven't killed too many of your restarts MM, we will eventually, just the landkill ones we did really.

And IMO if you fellows stick to your 350 country peak, and with twiz gone we are sorta perma 220 countries now, you can do really well still. I know it is mostly restarts vs built up countries, but war imo is far from lost.

What he is doing is killing targets that you guys dont care about, and sacrificing all his countries to do it. Had he been willing to wait a few more days he could have had triple the kills with better setups.
Im not debating his lack of skill, but he has been going at you for like 6 months now, lol.

You guys should give him lessons on how to suicide better, make it more entertaining.

But it costs them some satisfaction. War is all about moral, you know that :P If it was just who had more countries, or who had most missiles, would be obvious before war started who would win.
Even if you are losing to the point where everything seems lost, the only thing you can do that even bothers attacking countries is to delete it a few seconds before it is dead, then I would take it :P (Make you feel that you cheated the opponent, and make the opponent feel cheated, a small moral victory none the less)

NBK did a kill run on itself, fortunately both the person killing, and the target were both online at same time, so we walled our own killer. (They were in same warchat too)

Chat was filled with "STOP ATTACKING!!!" And "Wall brad wall!!"

It isn't that you didn't really bother walling, it was you didn't wall at all :P
First day you quit, second day they kill every country you have, lol.

You did wall very nicely before you quit however!

And what you say is true ultima, but keep in mind, crazyserb lost 10 of his countries in a row the same day because he had 0 military in every one, lol. That almost made his HPD on his countries average!

But we were being attacked by a clan a third again our size, and that war you fellows had enough time to build up massive missile stocks. Imp starts out as double Focus's size.

Not gonna say for either case, but imo the side that has the advantage should not resort to cheap things to win, however if you are losing, you gotta do what you gotta do.

It does affect it, on failed attacks for special attacks however it does not. Successful, the defender takes far less losses. For instance I can hit a 500k troop target with say 510k troops, he will lose about 30k ish troops (if he is in a bit of DR), and I will lose 40.8k troops everytime.

Doing that same attack, I could send 490k troops, he will lose just under 39.2k ish, and I will lose 39.2k.

When a failed attack costs the defender more military then a successful attack, and military losses are at 8% at most in either case, that shows that successful attacks losses are diminished by DR for the defender.

Very easy to test, and I have done it hundreds and hundreds of times breaking in the last few months.

The attacker automatically loses 8% of all forces. The defender loses roughly 8%, and it falls to somewhere between 2-6% after consecutive successful attacks. On a special attack, you can max a defenders casualties if you just barely fail however.
