Still a bit of a bummer having 50m tech on market of the type that no one bought, ending up with only 798m average due to that mistake.

A country with 1 million spy tech and 0 spies seem to have 500k expense cost for spies, which is quite strange :) (This cost then seem to multiply for countries with even more spy tech)

Noticed that two different countries (in FFA), with similar builds and amount of spies, had different expense costs for spies.
The one with less spies had a Expense cost about 2 million more, which is quite a lot when the difference between the two
was just 200k spies. Selling the spies did not matter, as the expense when country had zero spies was still $2,125,683.

Seems like the only difference is that the one with 2 million upkeep has a lot more Spy tech, but there is no upkeep for having Spy technology that Im aware of, at least not when the country has zero spies.

Still sounds like BS no matter how much you try to explain it away as some secret sauce that only you guys have access to. Its occam's razor, the simplest explanation are more likely to be correct that the complex ones.

Sin - You did rely on market forces to buy up all your high priced stuff and for bots/people to put up enough armies for you to buy though. So indirectly you got support from the whole server :) . In my case I did not rely on any of that, which would be the true definition of "no support".

I got my own record, at 13-14b, without support from anyone, including no one buying anything I put on the market (as I never put anything on the market to sell back then ). Never did any market transfers, nor any market manipulations. I bought more or less everything from private market as well :) (Which I understand was a big mistake, as I would probably have gained 50% more networth doing so). Thats what I call "No support" ;)

Anyway, I guess Sin didnt go that route though, as it would be impossible with only 11k acres :)

I didnt start thinking about netting until a few weeks before set ended, as my main prio last set was just to build big killer dictators with everything maxed for killing stuff. When I was finished and had 1000+ missiles all ICD targets, except 10, were out of range, so figured I at least could try to get one into top 10. Never thought I would gain 1,6B with the small amount of stock I had, but considering the market prices I was able to get approx 600m for each 100B cash

Yea, it will take some effort for someone to beat me on that one, but should take less than 6 years though (considering you can get about 96 per year).

probably the same for the other good one I have in that stat (tnw):

Probably 2-3 years to beat if you can get about 10B each and every set. Would be fun if someone did though, so I can

Similar to the Alliance restart bug, but in this case when registering Countries for new FFA set, in which 32 countries are created instead of 16 (two countries for each registered name).
