It's a strategy to help decide who's going to win, who isn't. Top feeding isn't ideal for netting but it's fun. And despite the war, Serp is indeed a good player!

I have 151% Indy tech.

I'd say buying tech at $3000 and producing 50% more every day is better than waiting until half way through the set to save $1000 per point on the cost of the tech.

Also having 40% stronger military all set long helps you grab more and sell more goods all set long.

Also having vastly reduced expenses helps a great deal all set long.

Same goes for strat tech, and sdi.

Come to think of it, I'd just say its best to invest in as much tech as soon as you can.

Haha, I've been hit twice more in 2 hours since posting this...yeah the bottom feeding is annoying. My defense is decent for my acreage and nw...lots of players around my nw have more acres, and seeing as I have no jets my defense for my nw is pretty good. But yeah the hits are under 200 acres but gaining them over 400 bc ghosts.

Hopefully I was just unlucky to get hit repeatedly by two douche bags. Thanks Katagat and GDI Salesman of the Month! Fortunately this isn't the only server I played, b/c if it was my first play I doubt I'd be back.

Fixed that for you.

There were very few bots without indies (and spies) in at least some capacity last set. Assuming he uses that same code here, the bots would have spies to some extent.

My list is relatively long. I've known a lot of people over the years playing this game.

First, some close friends.

1. Santa Claws - former SoC/TGA player, also played for Citadel. From Chicago, and a very fun person to know. Got to meet him once in Real Life for dinner when I was driving a big truck through Chicago area. RIP, buddy. :( Now passed.

2. Mello - former TGA player, also played for Citadel. From Austin, and a very funny lady to chat with. Had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit.

3. Gramberto - former LaF player and all around douchebag, but he was fun to watch with his various guises on the forums.

4. Patience - my absolute favorite Earth Person, from Calgary, Alberta, one of the few warlike Canuckians. former LaF and TIE player. Met her in Real Life in Virginia while also meeting my next person.

5. Viper - former RoCK player, and also played for Steel. From Richmond, VA. Met him in Real Life and introduced him to the official real Philly Cheesesteak when I went to Virginia to meet Patience.

6. Tirol - former OOA player, founder of RAGE. Don't really know where he was from, we never discussed it directly, never met him in Real Life, but I had a blast playing this game with him back in the day. Some people tell me he's still playing under another name somewhere, I won't say where, since I'm not positive either.

7. Ghost - I think he might have played for Omega back in the day. I met him in Real Life in the Hartford, CT area where I'm fairly certain that he's from. He had some of the more hilarious posts on the old AT forums.

8. Ench - former Omega player from Germany. Met her in Real Life in NYC. A nice lady although she hated my car. LOL I suppose that's because it was American Iron, or so it seemed. LOL

9. Cougar - former player for the KoH/TGA, completely mad player. Loved to fight, and made sure that there was one to get into every game. Met him in Real Life too, in fact, at one point, he was a roommate of mine in the Philly area.

There are others to be sure, but these are the ones I thought about today. :)

What a magnificent game Mehul Patel created here, eh? It's earned the loyalty of many fine people to play it over the years.

That's a goddamn commie lie and you know it. History revisionists try to justify the civil war by saying it was actually about State Rights vs Federal Rights, which is completely false. It was primarily about the institution of slavery. In a very simplistic nutshell, they were pissed that northern states refused to abide by the Slave Fugitive Act and when Lincoln got elected, despite his pledge to not interfere, they shat bricks.

Don't attempt to whitewash history and paint General Lee as some sort of States' Rights patriot. He was a fluffing traitor. What other country in the world flies the flags of the losing side?

Real Americans fly the Stars and Stripes, not the Stars and Bars.
