I just want to watch yours burn..... it would be nice to get some of the top players to make grabs against me because it would raise my spal a lot higher and I could blow up a lot more of your buildings

I’ve actually been selling all my food on my PM for 34 for weeks even though the public market price is a lot higher than that .. the public market price was above 80 earlier today and I still sold all my food for 34 on my PM simply because I don’t care .. my only goal is to rattle you and disrupt your reset because you think you’re better than everyone ... and I’ve already accomplished that goal :)

If you weren’t so full of yourself I wouldn’t bother :). I was going to self delete and forget about this stupid game after Dorsai ruined my set but I figured messing with the guy with the biggest head in the history of the game would be more fun :)

Anyone looking to grab the skinny guy with tons of tech just remember that I will retal and I will likely outgrow and pass you at some point and don’t care when in the reset I retal your grab

I find the people that try to enforce 72 hr retal policy are really funny.. if you hit someone during the reset you should expect a retal.. gdi rules don’t allow for any retal policy other than 1:1 thru the reset... because if you decide to hit twice you will pay real hard :)

There are enough noobs out there at this stage that no one should be attacking well built countries anyways

Everyone plays different styles.. casher in primary seems to be the techer of express but farmers, indy and techer can win too..

Everyone has their own grabbing style... gdi is nice to take advantage of.. but ya you can play with humanitarian ranges late game.. but for the most part I just try to hit everyone once and only farm players once I know I am about to completely outgrow them because their playing some kind of rainbow

Ya, I have a hard time with express.. I like this thread and discussion and I like playing express once in a while but I typically just play primary now because I can log in once a day for 5 minutes and there are no bots .. its all human players only and so every land grab decision has to be a good one in more ways than vs bots.. and it makes for a more challenging game in my opinion

Couldn't agree more with you on this, you need to get to X acres by X turns and you need to be online constantly watching the markets if you're really going for a net worth record, but I would emphasize your very last sentence in that I think to truly set a record you also need some of try some of this fringe stuff and have it hit at the right time on the right set when everything else has gone well....

The fringe stuff can burn ya, but in a perfect set it could help you set a record like a Wayne Gretzky points record... It's really hard to mess with the markets successfully though.. when I was playing more seriously I had one set where I hit 20k fast enough and was doing everything right but ended up with 4 million unsold tech points, so that was a good learning experience.. I guess with the unpredictability of other good players it makes more sense just to play smart and don't take those crazy risks

Last set you got lucky to resell all those bushels and get to where you did for a net worth because I accidentally sold my food (about 100 million bushels) at 36 on the public market when I should have sold it on my PM at 35.. so that allowed you to do what you did.. I could have sold on my PM and bought the food market out myself for an attept of my own at reselling for some absurd price late game..

There are fairly regular times that bots buy out certain tech markets completely throughout the set as well

If you can learn this and sell at the right times you can get an advantage in the same way as the military sell near the end

Especially as a demo you can influence this yourself ... thin out the agri market and then burn a ton of cheap food on your pm once you’ve got your agri tech up for sale for an absurd price .. a bunch of farmer bots just sold their food and will buy your tech :)

Anytime I've played demo reseller I've always got my PM sell price to 36.... Then you can buy any food under 36 and burn it on your PM and really play with the food market

The military resell at the end of the set is huge too which I didn't take advantage of enough last set

You can sell at almost any price and your military will sell at the right time on the last day because the bots all spend their stock at the same time and they buy out the public market of military completely

I sold 2 million turrets at 484 and 2 mil jets at 333 last set... and I played tyranny techer and I hit 55 mil NW with relatively little effort.. I just sold a lot of tech for 8888 all set :)

I've done CI.. highest I got was my 47,952 acres .. but I really wasn't trying for most land I could grab

I was trying to make as many grabs on bots as I could.. I'm pretty sure I went in gdi as well and I think I had a very high number of SS attacks

I will try a dictator farmer, non gdi, use humanitarians, and hit human players to go for most land I can get. I will do this when I have a weekend where the wife and kids are away.. lol

huhm... so a techer is not going to work

too bad farmer is so terrible on this server ... I like getting fat as a farmer on other servers

It's really commie indy only.. (or maybe casher) then to get really fat on express

Rep casher on this server is similar to playing techer in express, you get a huge advantage because of the strategy choice :)

I played Patiently Waiting and my goal was to try for as many acres as I could grab.. I didn't try to win the set or play for net worth

I could have had more land too but I got hit a few times, I didn't wake up to play over night and I didn't wake up in time to get as many grabs in as I could have on the last day before the cut off so I missed out on 5 more PS

I tried to get fat and stay small in NW and I didn't build all my acres and I spent most of my turns making a ton of grabs and it was a lot of fun.. the problem I ran into was building cost .. as I got really fat it cost too much money to build my land

Gerdler .. for the record I didn’t know it was you when I top fed you last set.. I was playing a rep casher and was falling behind/had lost some turns due to inactivity.. and So I figured I’d top feed one of the top cashers to make up some ground ... I spied the top three cashers in land and I attacked the one with the least amount of defence .. I only found out it was you after making the grab

beavis looks good to me... the fattest in the game, commie and indy prices have been good.. food hasn't been too bad for a commie and high tech prices are better for a commie vs a casher... it'll be close with the big cashers but I think beavis could take this set
