That would violate #2

I want to modify #1 and say build 1 type except bus and res in which build both in equal amounts and nothing else.

1). Pick 1 type of building and build lots of it
2) get 70-80 build per turn
3) don't build farm or Indy complex unless you have all farm or Indy complex
4) spend lots of money on tech unless you are 97% labs
5) explore for land if not attacking
6) gets lots of land
7) stockpile and win!

My thought was just the rule bascially makes all land grabbed on the express impossible to drop.

Thx and good work.

Hi

Just a thought, the newly announced 72hour land drop rule is 75% of the entire length of the express server. I tried to drop land this afternoon and I got blocked because I had grabbed it back on Saturday. I could go back to all explore I suppose?

Everything else is accelerated on the express, so maybe a 12 or 18 hour window is more appropriate if the rule is to say on the express. Or even change the entire rule from time-based to a turn base.

What is powernap's tag? "PowerN"?

A tag of two people is not going to do a good job policing 5 countries :)

marty:

Remove the 2B bug but increase the costs of corruption beyond the .1% that it is in express. Corruption places a large penalty on running turns with more than 2B dollars, but it does not place a penalty of human errors such as not logging in while selling stockpiles, or accidentally selling significantly more than 2B --- its those types of errors which ruin gameplay and make the game less enjoyable.

However, having corruption and removing the 2B cap does not place a penalty on human error because a player can spend any corruptable money before running a single turn and taking the corruption penalty.

As well, it does not change gameplay because people are still going to stock food to avoid paying the large corruption charges. People are still going to de-stock food in order to purchase goods. If anything, it would speed up the decline of food prices, and the rise of military prices, because people would no longer be required to sell in 2B chunks -- at the risk of getting grabbed with 4B dollars on hand.

I feel good or bad about corruption depending upon the "point" of corruption.

If the point of corruption is to allow players to sell as much military as they can without all their money going bye, then I think its great because the player is allowed to go over 2B. On the flipside, it is very prohibitive to run more than 1 or two turns with anything slightly over 2B so it sure does prevent players from stocking cash.

I pretty much echo the rest.
