So you're confused why you can't reply to a message sent from a source that doesn't have an actual country in-game because it came from a game moderator that was issuing a warning for inappropriate messages rather than deleting your country, AND you were going to reply with something inappropriate. In my professional experience, its relatively common to only use whole dollars in financial reporting for larger amounts. While cash transactions often have cents/decimals, they can clutter up reports. The thought process is that $5,591.99 is still not actually $5,592, so just report to the whole dollar you have.

So could be something similar here due to decimals

Gerdler was placed in a forum mod position through the same process as anyone else: He volunteered and a discussion with review was brought up to a panel of game mods, devs, and admins - which was left open for several months (not uncommon). Gerdler and I have always had (and still have) very different views of gameplay and game culture, but my assessment on the moderation topic was objective.

Are you just questioning his judgement or all of ours?

Sharing ops and break info is not necessarily a prerequisite for breaking the coordination rule. You asked players for help hitting someone on a solo server. This is not a new interpretation of the rule.

In regards to message reporting, the person you were antagonizing for days through messenger was given a warning. For me, I chose to do a warning given the context of all exchanged messages between you two and because the player had no prior warnings or deletions for ingame messages. In other cases, I may make the determination that a deletion is warranted at the start. I can't speak to your second example from a previous round since I don't recall being involved in reviewing that one.

No oil was purchased during the glitch. It was a consequence afterwards.

They were bots (stated in another post above). They also directly benefited nothing from it.

I can't speak for what the admins will do in those situations going forward. All I can say is no non-admin is able to do that under present conditions even if they chose to.

Just a quick FYI: the servers cannot be rolled back.


A few bots bought out two techs and a pile of turrets. Both live players and bots benefited from the sales. This will explain how lots of bushels and oil were purchased as a result. Other bots bought out bushels and some techs and players had to spend on oil. Cash generated from stage 1 of the glitch was close to $100B
