If someone anonymously sends us information, that person is probably either a whistleblower or a hacker. It is impossible for us to tell which.

If there is proof that a hacker did this and the hacker has an ingame or forum account, then the admins will look into ways of punishing the user. If you'd like to see something done about this, send us an email with the evidence that you have. Posting on FFAT will accomplish nothing.

I'm suspicious of everyone and more suspicious of certain alliances: if you feel that makes me biased, fine. But I was the last person to sign off on the LaE deletions.

I don't have a problem with anyone personally in NA or LaE, but I do have a problem with cheaters. I don't know what the exact overlap is between cheaters and those alliances, but I also don't know that for any other alliance.

The comments in this thread seem to be more about politics and preserving reputations, which is exactly why I said I was done posting before.

jagernacht: we know why you aren't defending your friends and you are so confident that your countries don't match the same pattern as theirs. You are only solidifying your guilt in my mind.

This is going to be the last post I'm making about this subject. We bought back FFA so all players could enjoy it. It's honestly a shame that so much effort is being spent to circumvent the system and consequently the developers have to spend so much effort tracking things down.

Forum accounts are not tied to game accounts, so for specific information the owners of the deleted countries will need to make a formal request.

mrford, why do you assume that a single IP logged into them and how could you explain that if it was the case? The bottom line is that we don't like deleting countries, but the users involved know why they were deleted.

-Missiles: we use a proper random number generator now, which is why countries get more missiles than they did in the past.

-Spying: we didn't attempt to copy the formula because no one knew it and it was a total mess. I understand what you're saying: it's nice to get decent spies and to get most of your ops on the first try. But is that actually good for the game or fair to everyone else? Btw, normal ops don't add to spy DR.

DR: boxcar does not report DR accurately.

AVG NW: the average NW is based on 10 for non-team clan servers. For team, we don't enforce a limit. We chose to do that because single country tags play at a large disadvantage (no allies) and TNW seems like a more impressive goal than ANW. In addition, countries can't be kicked from the tag.

Mil expenses: this should have been fixed. Can anyone else confirm this?

Missiles: missile destruction formulas are the same.

Retal window: I may or may not agree, but that is a political issue to be decided by the players.

Facebook: the developers have been able to play turns in facebook for a few weeks now.

Accounts: there are around 1000 active accounts, but they are split between many games.

Thanks for the thoughts raheel!

All messages, except those reported as inappropriate by players, are private between the sender and the receiver. In this case, the receiver, who happened to be my ingame ally, sent me the message.

Since you can't seem to have a normal conversation with someone with "administrator" in their game, I'll refrain from commenting further.

Pang has good intentions, but alliances should be held responsible for what they say. I don't see why we should necessarily avoid passionate trash talking. I don't have any direct knowledge of this particular incident though, but I can confirm what Xelah is saying. EVO and Dknights didn't fight as a favor to collab, basically.

I am referring to messages that you sent out like this:

"FYI, I only accept retals land:land so you should cross fingers that there won't be a buyout of turrets if you decide to retal. I will take back every acre until we're even again, so if you want a war for your 244 lost acres, then go ahead and do it."

If you tried to enforce such a ridiculous policy on me personally, I would war/suicide on you. I hope you'd have enough integrity not to complain about it on the boards and order a kill run, because to be frank, sending out messages like that pretty much guarantees that you'll get suicided on.

As for individual skill in primary, part of it knowing when to stop grabbing.

As I understand it you were sending out messages telling people that they weren't allowed to retal you, Grimstad. What would have happened if they done so?

Can we please not pervert primary into a clan based game with kill teams and last minute FA packages? I'd like to see the best individually skilled player win instead of the one with the most friends.

I remember when EVO leaders accused LaF of sponsoring a suicider against EVO and SS was screaming at the top of his lungs for ironclad proof. Yet now that a suicider accusation has been made that's convenient to him, he believes it without a second thought.

Threads like this have nothing to do with righteousness or policies. They're just thinly-disguised, downright creepy personal attacks.

Anyway, where is your proof that I suicided on you?

I believe that it's possible to get top ten but probably not possible to finish in first place. I would do it myself as a proof of concept but it would require tactics (that other top ten players use) that I'm personally not willing to use.

There was no jab intended. There are only so many ways to explain the same thing. To me it looked like my first attempt didn't work, so I tried a different approach.

The reason that I'd personally dismiss this idea right now (though note that I don't have absolutely authority over game changes) is that three recent game changes massively benefit CIs. It usually takes players at least a few resets to adjust to the new changes. We haven't even gone through a single alliance reset with the new game changes!

"Well of course"? You cited a TMBR finish as being superior to a CI destock in alliance.

I'm not sure what you want me to say here. If you consider what I posted to be obvious, then you should have finished in the top ten at least once over 13 years.

There are three main obstacles to a CI finishing in the top ten in the alliance server: the reset length, the server politics, and most players, even the "hardcore commies", not understanding how to play the strategy.

Commie indy has very specific strengths and weaknesses. It has the strongest start by far, has the least efficient stocking, and has the most efficient destocking (up to a point). If you want to finish top ten with a CI, you'll need to figure out a strategy that incorporates those strengths and weaknesses. Right now, the alliance server is one of the worst servers to attempt that on. If you play your CI the same way as you would an all-X farmer, you aren't going to finish top ten.

In this situation the standard would be no MB theo, so he'd get

(2 025 * 0.8 * 0.9025) / 6.5 = 224.93 $/NW

destocking.

There's certainly enough time to destock it. I don't really think PM space is going to be a problem if you have that much stock.

The 1.5B bushels would get you ~196M NW destocking in the standard way.

We're talking about SOL's strengths as a warring alliance. Parsing through your post, what do you mention as strengths of SOL?

-you restart a lot and never quit
-you're old

I already acknowledged that. SOL functions well as a cult, but not as a warring alliance. Collectively, the players who don't particularly care to war and don't have 12 years of experience have more warring talent than you. That's sad. I wouldn't brag about that.

Earth Watcher, please tell us all about whatever doomsday scenario you've conjured up. What is the big, nameless fear here? SOL FSed EVO, didn't they? Did SOL get mass deleted? Did the server get shut down? Did all of the EVO countries automatically enter vacation mode? Did anything improper happen at all? If the idea of game admins who are involved in the game and who actually care frightens you so much, there are plenty of other games to play.

Hobo, please spare us from having to read your platitudes. You act as if there is some honor or dignity in what SOL has done this set. You don't get and you don't deserve respect for FSing netting alliances half your size, failing to post war declarations, and ignoring repeated requests for FA contact.

Dear dagga,

You weren't playing. How would you know? You have no credibility (and apparently no argument).

Dear Eric171,

You aren't playing, yet you're trying to take credit for it? Isn't splitting your former alliance's pathetically small accomplishment this set into 70 pieces enough?

It's been 24 hours, yet all of the warrers can offer in counter-argument are curse words and noises from their mouths.
