I think it's ridiculous to be pushing contact tracing. The only way to do it is to know where everybody is at all times. It's my opinion that my movements are already far too well known as it is. Furthermore, corona is far too widespread for it 5i be effective at this point. The cat is and has been out of the bag for a long time now.

I think there are two types of people pushing this. People who are stupid but we'll intentioned, and people who want power over others. I think the vast majority are just stupid, as with people in general.

I worked for a sign company with about 25 people employed. Yesterday, everybody hired during their expansion in the last year, 5 people including me, were let go. I was told off to the side that if fluff gets better and business picks back up soon they want to rehire me, so I'm basically done there. I don't see this getting any better for months at the very least.

Luckily before this job I worked at a family owned sub shop. They're busy as ever with so many other restaurants closing down, and they haven't found somebody to really fill my position since I left 5 months ago. So I'm back to cooking and making sandwiches in the hood, being exposed to hundreds of people a day. Until we get forcibly shut down anyway. So happy.

I once had 20k acres lost to earthquakes over the span of a week, three earthquakes all over 6k towards the end of a set when I was over 300k acres. It cost me over $10B to rebuild iirc, which would have been well over 30M nw. I can't say I'd miss them if we got rid of them.

Can't believe it. I always think it's silly when celebrities die and people go on social media to say how sad they are, but this had me shaken today. I hated him as a player beating all my favorite teams, but always respected him. After he retired, he did some of the best, most in depth basketball analysis in existence. I paid for ESPN+ just to watch his show. I'd have to rewind over and over to understand what he was pointing out.

It's not hyperbole to say we just lost one of the most intelligent and insightful basketball minds alive. I was really hoping that one day he would become a commentator during the games, he would have been amazing at it.

Yeah it bugs me when people make these complaints. There's tourney, primary, and express, each offering solo gameplay much like what it seems Cerb and other want, and with each server being very different. Alliance is its own type of gameplay entirely because of politics.

I did this on team for two or three sets primarily to increase my batch explores. The effect seemed a little low one set and about right another set. I think I got it to 12 or 13% iirc and my explores were usually around that much bigger. Overall not worth it because other bonuses are better.

I'm getting lower than expected returns on non farmers bots, in terms of total acres grabbed. So this change means that since I have no ez/res/labs and few ICs, my attacks on cashers techers and Indies yield less total acres, because I am not capturing the buildings. I would have assumed the acres would just be empty. So I now have an incentive to maintain 1-2k of each of those building types to get me the 100-200 acres missing from those grabs. Seems to me this wasn't intended because it feels retarded to incentivize running a rainbow.

Lmao at thinking I was gonna AB you, the only reason I bought them was to get my NW up to maximize my land returns. The market was bought out of literally everything else, and I needed defense anyway. It also helps as a deterrent to ABing me if anyone would want to. I'm not sure I've ever ABed anyone on this server, not even in the two war sets where weedy was blindsided by chaos.
