Elves the entire server is regulated by an alliance of players of different clans. Not all of the clan members but some more than others. It would be absolutely crazy to give the sole impartial authoritative position to someone who supports that bandwagon.

That's why Tella is an effective mod when he's active--- he doesn't let the virtual peer pressure influence his decisions.

raves and orkin were both strongly disliked before thry were mods. mickster, as far as i recall, had already been made mod by the time i started (grade nine.. so end of 99/00ish)

The 4 landgrabs are debatable on if that could be considered baiting. The demos however are considered harmful spyops and should warrant deletion.

As discussed previously its a pretty flimsy reason and clearly the rules need to be looked at and rewritten. However for the moment we gotta deal with them and hopefully get an active mod that will enforce them
