even if there was script stopping self hits then self farmers would put landfarms on 1 account and landfarmers on 2nd account and no script would stop that.

doubt even ip-block would work due mobile-devices.

mehul's 1st ffa was closed due blatant cheating, mehul's ghost acres were removed due players abused system (even more than self/intratag farmers do now), mehul's last ffa was closed prolly same reason as 1st one.

I think buying your other countries goods is cheating. If ur farmer has 30m bushels for sale at $36, your other countries shouldnt be allowed to buy bushels.

I think using 1 country to break and others as finishers is cheating.

I think using 16 countries to kill 1 country is cheating. You should have to use all 16 countries separately and in different kill runs.

I think having 1 country as a spy country is cheating, countries should have to get their own spy ops.

A large proportion of the netters in this server like netting here cause they can self farm. So i vote we keep it as it is. But if you do want to get rid of it, how about you come up with actual good ideas of how to successfully remove it.


None of your suggestions fix the problem of self farming:
-You make it so i cant hit myself, ill create 2 accounts and run 8 on each. If you make that against the rules Ill get a buddy to swap hits with. (As many do on alliance server)
-You make it so i cant hit my own tag. Ill tag 8 in one tag and 8 in another.
- You remove ghost acres all together. Good by to landgrabbing, it becomes a piece of fluff like it used to be

Despite that in Earth 2025 there was a poorly enforced rule against self-farming, there is no rule here. Furthermore, the game mods and developers have weighed in multiple times with the opinion that they have no problem with it.

Until/Unless they decide differently, this argument is pointless, and pleading to the netgainers to not land-farm is silly. As others have pointed out, you're asking people to play at a disadvantage if they do so. Just because self-farming is highly successful doesn't mean its cheating.

Get over it or at least direct your complaints to the right place: the game developers.

Self farming doesnt effect your kill stats. So please go back to warring.

Not to mention that there's not a whole lot of convincing arguments that this is a war game.

The top stats that are shown set by set by the server are all networth based.

If people want to play the game in other ways, that's their business, but calling this game a war game simply because they prefer to play it as a war game is simply inaccurate.

Do you see a 'Gain Networth' button on the side, Twain? I see cashing, but most importantly, I see 'War Room' as a readily available option, Twain. So, before your go off on your anti-idiot/anti-Donny rant, remember that 'simply inaccurate' truly has to be simple and easy to see. There are rankings based on networth, would you call it a 'netting' game?

This is c/p from the front page of http://www.EarthEmpires.com, and as you can see, there is nothing that would lend to the idea that this is a 'networth based' game. Remember the reason many joined Earth:2025 or EarthEmpires, the idea that we could attack and defend were primarily a reason for gaming. The idea of 'netting' was something we obviously wanted, to be the biggest, the best, to attack all and be untouchable. The game couldn't survive on netting or warring alone.

I am not claiming this is a war game or netting game, just that I like to shove more truth down people's throats than some of the awesome ideas the likes of Donny and Twain seem to enjoy spitting here :) It may be better for Twain to be like Rockman and just burn Donny when he comes to FFAT to force you netters out of your shells.

That sounds like netting to me.

well the arguement can go both ways, but as it stands current rankings are based on networth. you dont get to first place by having the most kills.
