I know there is a penalty to your spy effectiveness if you are spying on someone with 6 times more land then you have. I'm actually curious if the penalty is a multiplier, in which case the insane SPAL on 106 is still insane after being multiplied by some constant, or if it is more complicated. Anyone have any insight?

Only 68 guys in his range, 20 non-GDI. If someone does do anything to him I would think it's the few guys in range that he's DT'ed, but then GDI would be irrelevant.

Not that difficult if its spread out over a 4-5 days. If I remember correctly, last set I had kept mostly just over $2billion in cash on hand while getting my banks bombed for about $10million each spy-op. At about 20 spy ops a day that was about ~$200million stolen a day. Of course their gains also depend on how much money the thief has on hand, but this doesn't seem to be very difficult to reach the amount needed to get some pretty good returns.

But hey, at least every other strategy in the game can hide the goods they feel are in danger of being stolen or blown up on the market or by some other means. Techers are truly fluffled in that there is no way to avoid holding 3/4ths of their entire tech stock on hand at any given moment. If these thieves ever got smart they might figure out that stealing tech from the top Techers and selling it on the market probably yeilds more profits than stealing cash from countries holding just above or below ~$2billion on hand.

Hm, techers I don't think are truly fluffed more than the other strats. They can hide their cash as food and usually are dems so they don't have to pay commission. Stocking farmers also deal in food, stocking cashers use food, etc. It's mostly commies who have the best protection because they can either pump spies or just play day-to-day without stocking too much. Stocking is more important now with these building prices, so everyone is harmed by the busted spy mechanics, which they really need to fix.

Speaking of which, I just bombed some dude's buildings 20 times and killed 250 buildings per and never failed an op. It's a silly Rep that picks a fight with a larger Dict with over triple the SPAL.

Decided to put everything on the market from then forward.

The way things are, decay seems like a very very risky bonus to go for
