Typed in 5 and it went on the wrong side of the 0... Thus 50. It stops your turns after the first shortage though. Still pissed me off though. It's a problem you run into from time to time trying to play quickly from a touchscreen. Lol

If you go over $2b cash on hand, you start losing money due to "corruption." So if that starts happening, you can possibly start buying food. You keep the extra food on the market so it won't "decay" when you play turns, and you sell it closer to the end. The reason to have so much money at once is because if you spend it as you go, your expenses per turn will increase and your turns will be less profitable. On the private market, the best return in networth per dollar spent (so the best way to improve your finish) is by buying troops, followed by tanks. Turrets are a rip off that you might want to avoid. Public market prices may be better than your private prices.

So I'm 119. Hmmm I screwed up badly this reset. Back to conventional stocking for me in the future=) I got in my head the idea if I could stock 350M bushels by 11 days out I could unload at $60 and converting to tmbr would be worth it. I got the 350M bushels part, but nothing else worked out.

But it's fun to try new things out every once in a while. I think I'm gonna have to sit out next set friends as I get comfortable in a new job. But I should be back in November. See ya then friends!

Do you know how big a break he is? Didn't make much sense given I was stocking with (virtually) no jets. I had always planned on hitting him once I converted to tmbr. Then I get cheaper building costs for most of my land, and then thanks to Gogy I get to add a few k acres more at the end. Very funny timing tho...

Well he did it now, I guess he's giving up his set because that's a guaranteed war. Weird thing is just a couple sets ago Bobby was enforcing a 72 hour window but now he's making 8-day old hits... after dropping 11k acres three days ago haha

As I said, I dropped land b/c I couldn't finance a full switch on 40k acres. I figured,

Drop to 25k-> Convert-> Grab Gogy and build MBs is cheaper than

Drop to 30k-> Convert

The retal window thing I've always tried to be clear, but it seems I never am. Hit me back in 72 hours I will happily accept. Anything longer and you are in danger of me coming after you.

I don't see how Gogy can war me. He doesn't have access to special attacks yet and I make a spectacularly bad LG target. I would be surprised if he can even break me, but I won't say it can't happen.

Although, if he buys jets with that money he'll lose 1m+jets per bomb airbase:) 1v1 warring is so hilarious. spies>armies every time.

I couldn't keep going with oil in the 400-500's and military plummeting. I pretty much gave up at that point. Indy tech was so scarce earlier too, it took me forever to even buy any at all. I was only weapons tech for quite some time. Lol

Farmers don't need to hold turns, but there's no particular reason to spend them either. Demo farmers can resell food though, so that is a reason to not hold turns.

The need to sell food today at 40 rather than hold turns to sell it tomorrow at 39 or lower is a reason to not hold turns now. If food prices were going up or likely to go up, then yeah it makes sense to hold turns. Either way you can resell. So why not make a buck or 2 while still reselling.
