Herbs announced the day before that he was gna go to town on Crazy so I tried to sneak in a grab before it happened, hoping he'd be preoccupied or too destroyed to retal me. He ended up retalling me hard so I figured I'd keep grabbing since herbs was gna keep hitting him before he left for his trip.

Candy then jumped back in to fight Crazy so after a few days I was like, whatever, I'll just keep netting cuz I thought Crazy was done for. Props to crazy tho for rebuilding and coming back at me a second time - I totally underestimated him.

It's only a matter of days until he becomes my land farm crest. It's highly unlikely a demo all oiler will beat a casher in the 2nd half of a set, especially when there are quite a few ppl hitting him now also.

An oiler selling for $250+ is making some good money.

25,000 land * 2 * 54 * 250 = $675m. / $125 = 5.4m jets or turrets per day. Go ahead and keep grabbing him, you'll lose the trade every time and you can't escape his attack range with him capable of that production.

1. Day 40 is usually when oil starts to tank. We're at day 36.
2. I've been an oiler, your oil doesn't sell out every day. Because of how long it takes people to buy the 2.5m oil throughout the day other oilers undercut you. So that $675 is maximum potential income.
3. A casher makes more than $675/day.
4. He's getting grabbed left and right so that 25k rig (not accurate # FYI) starts to go down fast.
5. I can double tap him every day (except I didn't factor in my readiness and failed the 2nd one today doh)

We'll see what happens though. I underestimated crazy last set.

The only other people hitting him so far are the topfeeders and weirdos. Personally I'm not going anywhere near a guy that can post 15m jets within a day so if you're counting on others jumping on him you might be disappointed.

If you hit twice and get 4000 land and he hits back once and you lose 4500 land that's not a good deal. You've now hit him 4x, you're not going to get good ghost acres anymore either. Plus you're nowhere near jumping out of humanitarian range so you'll have to be on guard against ABs/missiles for a long time. Picking a fight with this guy was a mistake imo.

Meh, whatever, wars are fun, especially when both are near each other in NW. It's not fun just picking on tiny guys and jumping out of range the next day.

Well using the rep cashers as the benchmark I was about 4-5k acres behind where I needed to be as a dict casher. Getting retaled put me behind to the point where it was RoR big and hope to get away w/ it or go to war and have fun the rest of the set.

Well eManny, bets on EDSA Revolution (#93) retalling everyone that grabbed him, including DPRK. It shouldn't be too difficult for a Demo like him to mass buy $110 jets at this point.

Oh, so #166 *is* a farmer, I thought he was a casher for some reason. His income must be huge right now. He was very fat early set but escaped without being hit except by that one guy and I think he's home free now.

Also, EDSA Revolution's retals have always been on the two most recent people to hit him. Juggernaut/Delphinus/DPRK's hits are a month old now. I spied on EDSA Revolution and he had $1.7b on hand and I moved on, Brandenburg and Serp hit him AFTER that which just was questionable decision-making to say the least, heh.

I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want to be the reason he might get hit, but for the first half of the reset Decoy Effect had land about equal with the top few players but was ranked down around 20th. Like I said he's a monster now though heh.

I agree that #166 looks the strongest, but he's also the person who farmed the most guys and it might be his undoing.

Took the biggest risk, might get the biggest reward lol.

At this stage if you are hitting anyone other than a high acre CI, it would be wise to market spy. There are other ways I use to determine who not to hit.

Yeah I'd recommend market spying at this point sometimes, especially if the targets haven't attacked for some time because then you know there should be stock. But I don't do it all of the time, just when I think it would be prudent.

market spy? unless you're a Ci.. U probably have difficulty getting a normal spy in let alone an ally spy or even a market spy..

I wouldn't worry about food prices.. there's like 3 huge farmers(above 40k).. and only a handful of cashers..

dprk is considered as mid feeding isn't it? I wonder if that works, might try out next set.. instead of make 3-4 PS with 600-700 gains, just do 2 and get 2.8-3k acres. saves u the trouble of spying and ally spy.

He's definitely midfed a few people like Wrecking Ball. It works until it doesn't. Basically, you get good land and you get it efficiently, but you're attacking competent players who will want to retal and sooner or later someone will. Then again, I feel like I've moved on to midfeeding in the late portion of the set all the time because the smaller targets get exhausted. Eventually you're forced to hit better players.

Lol if you attack a techer at this point without doing a market spy. That's like asking to lose 3000 land.

This set sucks for land definitely.

I mean just looking at the number of players versus previous resets you get a feeling that there isn't a whole lot of options out there.

And for food prices, it's very interesting. It's the big number of techers that are keeping it high, not the lack of farmers.

Interestingly I looked back at old sets, like when Bakku was setting his record and stuff, and there was almost no one over 50k land. Competition for land is way higher now than it used to be and I think it's due to an influx of top flight players.

Questionable grabs, because I'm always rushing to get them done. I force myself to grab, even when I clearly don't have time to. Lol. I don't even check if I'm getting labs or farms when I spy, let alone think about stock. I just run the math for the break, hit, and look for my next target.
