No, he wanted to try out MBR as a strat not to destock. He miscalculated and did not have enough stock on hand to get his MBR going. Not to mention the market current market conditions.

yea he just got annoyed at being topfed as a landfat commie so switched to TMBR.... just before the mil market completely crashed. a pity... knowing the player he had t5 potential if he'd stuck with it i reckon.

I think he's won Express with MBRs too. But this doesn't really work quite the same. Plus he never got off the ground, when I spied on his market he only had 100k tanks for sale.

Despite my late start, I'm big enough to do spy ops on #143. I don't know if my SPAL is good enough, or what damage I could hope to do on a guy who is in GDI. I don't think stealing his tech would hurt him that much, and due to my late start, my SPAL isn't that great.

It won't be an Indy this set. I don't think I had a shot anyways, but on top of that I also thought the set went until the 2nd and stocked too much. I'll lose some having to buy back expensive military. Stupid mobile EE doesn't show when the set ends.

I've had 5 earthquakes this week, killing about 3500 buildings in total... I gave up rebuilding them.
