Warfare
General Information Warfare is the primary method of achieving greatness and recognition amongst your opponents. Your military can make attacks using various strategies, each with benefits and drawbacks. Each attack is described below. Any attack requires one to three turns to complete depending on your government.
Standard Strike The standard strike is the normal attack used when you want to attack an opponent and capture their holdings. Standard strikes reduce the readiness of units sent on the attack so it is best not to send too many forces for no reason. These attacks take no time beyond the two turns. Standard strikes capture a percentage of your opponent's land, along with money, food, buildings, and technology. The percentage of land you receive depends on the size of your opponent, the size difference between you and your opponent, and how often your opponent has been recently attacked. This server has a base percentage of 98% for Standard Strike attacking military losses.
Planned Assault The planned strike is an advanced version of the standard strike. Countries are limited in the number of planned strikes they can perform and the forces sent on a planned strike will be unavailable for 23 hours for attacking or defense. In exchange, your sent forces will fight with a 50% bonus in attack strength and will capture up to 50% more resources from a successful attack.On this server, you can perform up to 2 planned strikes per calendar day. You are able to make additional attacks even after exhausting your daily planned strike capacity.
