Since the Bots can't attack yet, how about making them invincible? That way nobody can farm them and the Bots are free to fulfill their other purposes?

Btw, Wikipedia has a lot of names of places, could use that? <https://en.wikipedia.org/...tegory:Lists_of_places>;

bots just follow market price +/- 20% randomly. So it's just supply & demand I suspect

bots shouldn't be able to place food on the market before being OOP i think? I'll have to check that actually, in case the check was done in the UI originally -- almost all things have the check in the game engine where it ought to be, but maybe this one doesn't...

Yes, it does; because if there's really cheap goods, and demand is high, they are picked up fast, possibly by SO's; if demand is low, the price begins to fall naturally. If demand is really high, the price moves up naturally.

The key to a stable market is a *larger* market. More goods being bought and sold. My idea in the future is to make the numbers of strat types be similar to human-played numbers, to keep the market in-line with what it would be if there were no markets, just with a much deeper supply & larger demand.

There is a bot with 1.8b cash and 0 spies but unfortunately I cant OPs him. Was trying to steal a little cash but it keep saying failed.

Any reason?

If the bots couldn't be attacked they would eventually fill most of the top ten. Most all-X strategies aren't that difficult to program and never having any military expenses would really help.

qzjul you have to do something about the bots. ever since bots were introduced, food has never been above $40, military prices were $150 and above. I've bought over 80m bushels last set between $30-$33.. Im sure a huge part of this food comes from the bots.

eestats doesn't reflect exact fluctuations in prices. so the highest points can actually be higher than reflected on the graph.

How long did you play the entire set? 3 mins? Im sure eestats didnt capture most of the set you were playing.
Eestats updates every 5 mins. Unless your ALL your food was sold in that 5 min time frame then yes eestats might not have captured it.

eestats updates every 5 mins on some things (aka players rank, players history). the graph is not one of them. the graph is updated daily and a line is drawn to each day's average (using a line graph).

if you look at the graphs closely you can actually see where the line shifts per day marker. that's why you never see the line change direction more than once in between each(1) day.

yea you're right, its drawn to each day's average, the average seen on the graph is already clear enough. if you take a look at the sets before bots were introduced, there were peaks for bushel prices(when techers are stocking). now its just a flat $33-$40 line.

yes, but @ exactly day 2? i highly doubt someone sold medical tech exactly at the turn of day in ALL the graphs. if the graphs truly reflected 5 minute updates the line would have started in between day 1 and 2 somewhere.
