ps3 here- the maps are great. mw3 has a larger fan base for sure, but i don't think it is a better game. i love rush mode.
single player is ok, but i didn't buy it for single player, all i care about is online playing.

I was originally going to say screw MW3 and just get BF3. But now due to the above fact ive decided to get MW3 and skip BF3

BF's less 'arcady' and more meant for pc than consoles imo. Console is max 24 player with max 30 fps where PC on the other hand is max 64 player with no fps cap. Destructable terrain + flying jets, mmm

i would say the same about BF3, except there aren't as many and they aren't as good.

i have a ps3 and used to like battlefield, but modern warfare is so much better it's not funny anymore.

the entire screen keeps rapidly flashing black causing a massive headache. i played the beta fine so i really dont see how its a vcard or driver issue but heres my specs if someone has an idea

win7 64bit
8gb ram
amd phenom 8750 triple core processor 2.4ghz
ati radeon 5570 graphics card

the game itself seems to load fine however

and i can do bc2 on its highest settings with no issues so i may just wait and see if anyone else on those forums has this issue too

Yep I've been playing on PC. Level 6 now :)

Rebuilt my rig for this game. I was 170k point Colonel in BF2, never got the last 10k for 3 star gen but oh well.

Loving the new game. Simple amazing.

@kemo: the only other things i could recommend is to double check to make sure you have an updated DirectX (which i assume you do since you played beta)
if that is the case perhaps try scaling back to an older driver. its counter intuitive but sometimes it works.

the screen problems is on ea's end, lotta people been fluffing on the battlelog forums about it on every platform

I enjoy different genres of games, but the Need For Speed and Midnight Club games are all generally the same, just differing cities. Grand Theft Auto was great up to GTAIV, and then it became an issue of learning the new controls and fluff.

I play fighting style games like Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2010 & 2011 and Soul Calibur III & IV. I'll be getting Mortal Kombat for sure, the fatalities with the new game are epic. As for FPS games; I have Mercenaries 2, MW2, Black Ops and MAG.

instead of kill ratio - i think points / min is a better way to gauge a player. someone could be sitting behind a rock, killing 6 and only getting killed twice.
