Using serp's country as an example, he last logged in with 48 hours to go in the set. So if he does a 18, 18 and 12 hr log in, he gets 15 extra bonus points on top of the 96 turns he will be getting. That's 111 turns total. Assuming he'll log in to 86(80) after the first 18 hrs, that would put him at a total of 235 turns total. Also assuming he has max bonus points on hand now which is about 24 and the last 48 hours will yield another 16 points. That's 13 booms and 2 extra turns bringing his total production to 263 turns worth.

At 65000 acres, he is likely to have 64500 indies and maybe 158% indy tech.
263 turns worth of production will be equivalent to about 40M worth of NW. Adding it to his existing 84.7M will give 124.7M nw. It is likely it will take more than 10M worth of NW to run those 263 turns. Unless he has some stock, he's unlikely to break 115M nw.

Also, dict cashers aren't really cashing that much. The 75k dict's income is like a 62k rep. So yeah, he might pull a 120-125M if done right. I haven't paid much attention to when they stopped grabbing this set since I wasn't in the mix so it's all just a guess from what I see at this point.

Ok I will increase my top10 NW from 80 to 85M.

Also Blid, farming Herbs didnt really give me any lead. I was top land from almost mid set. I was hitting Herbs only so that #3 wouldnt take all the land himself :) (and he wasnt free land at all... mind you!) . I could have grabbed a lot more land if I did hit others instead of Herbs.

Anyway, Its only my 2nd set in Primary.. so I'm still learning the mechanics of the server.. And besides picking the wrong strat to compete for #1, I also did a lot of mistakes (with grabbing SAM being on of the biggest :P).

Herbs posted he was leaving on the 12th for the rest of the set and I made a mental note of it and was going to hit him late on the 11th. He also said he was jumping into a war w/ crazy and then later announced the day before he would attack him that he would be attacking him. So after doing an op to see herbs' turns I grabbed crazy hoping to get in before herbs hit. However, crazy retaled me so I ROR'ed thinking between candy and herbs he would be crippled quickly.. mistake on my part =/

Crazy hit me hard on the 10th or something so I ended up just building up the 11th, and to my delight on the 12th herbs country was still there.. So I waited until the 13th or so to make sure he was actually gone.. according to eestats he didn't login for 48 hrs so I went for the hit.. it was a 7m PS as a dict, w/ weapons tech so not rly free land. What really surprised me was that no one else grabbed him until I had hit him for a few days.

where can i go to see some examples of proper netting?

look at the top techer this set smiley.. quite a strong show given how challenging teching is in primary. 100m+ techer in this market is always an example of proper netting, even if it won't win. you can get no better examples.

You would think a theo could do a resell and make another jump. The theo stopped moving days ago and hasn't nudged up since. Could be a big error if no one jumps higher. That's 5m left on the board, easily.

#110, warred #135 a little bit and was going to wreck #196 for top feeding me and then RoRing but then food finally took off and I thought I could salvage my set. At the end I just said screw it and was going to rape #65 but he kept dropping into humanitarians and finally gave up with I read oldman say 85 mill might make top 10. He was close. Ate too many topfeeds.

Simply cashing and de-stocking as a Theo would've gotten me a top 5. Ironically, it would also have been a top 5 Theo Record.

Man if that country were mine I would never own up to running it.

It's because this was a casher reset with no rep cashers... that's why a monarchy casher can finish 11th, a 40k acre casher can finish a couple hundred thousand off the win, a dict casher can eat 38 missiles and finish top ten...

Dang if I didn't get so aggressive with my grabs I possibly might have won! By the way props to Crazy #91 for rallying from 0 CS's and hitting me with a second wave of attacks. Did not see that coming.

Christmas may have been why the lack of competition. Lots of people probably didn't care to play, or play seriously. I dunno. All I know is my country sucked, for what looked like it would be ok. *shrugs*
