heh I was trying to crash food but not this fast..

I'm looking at finishing mid 90's; not particularly happy with it, but it's not *that* bad considering food didn't really go anywhere and I was relying on early stocking. It'll do for a final set.

I feel #13 kind of has an edge because of so much free land which is unfortunate. Did he have more land than #61, #6, #183 before farming herbs?

Yeah well taking 10,170 land from one country doesn't hurt. That's 13.5% of his final land that came from herbs. It's fluffty that it happened and it'll be a bummer to see him win. I'm not saying it's cheating, it's just unfortunate.

It's a bit harsh. I've jumped on an inactive country before...* Qwertyh*. That was crazy huge breaks. Lol. It's inactive and fair game to all.

It's not cheating, and can be very risky if the guy logs back in and wants to have some fun.

Oldman are you old man cant win? I wasted 56 hours on debating of war lol . I blame that on my mediocre set in primary although in top ten now no where near what I want teching.. I am holding defence alliance I place for them but they still tech so I do not cancel despite military difference :) I have had better set teching but I think overall good performance :) I told thought you might be old man so I betted on you to win. What is your final n/w old man??!

I agree. I was just trying to make some money selling some bushels high and buying back low and sold my entire stock. Logged in and kinda panicked. I'm curious how poorly I destocked in the end. Would love to discuss after the set is over.

It's kinda funny, haven't played since round 14 and I see that we're picking up right where we left off. Arguing about someone farming a buddy. In round 14 tdoung Welcome back #62 farmed an inactive buddy pretty hard #95(don't remember who the buddy was). Then Serpentor hit #95 for WAY LESS LAND, and then promptely got nuked. Not gonna look for the post, but I still remember the ranting and raving lol.

I still remember it cause i figured i would've been bumped up from fourth to third if tdoung #62 didn't have all that free land.

What they did was more cheating because as it turned out tduong had PM'd Requiem to confirm his country number and get approval for farming him. And then, yes, Req nuked Serp when Serp tried to get in on it. Similar thing happened with bug who cheated with ingle and Beelze, even logging in to grab while letting others farm him, and which he admitted was coordinated in the forums. This case isn't quite as bad because herbs posted publicly the date he would be leaving on these forums... still he should have deleted his country, and returning and making a grab makes it look worse, but in the scheme of things even if the people farming him did it without coordinating anything it still sucks in terms of the big impact it will have on finishes. 13.5% of that dude's land!

What's the big difference? Increased military losses bottom feeding? Less good land targets? Seems like we were slower gaining land slightly.

Those seem to be the two main changes to me. I expect t5 NWs similar to last set tho, so I don't see regression from last set when those changes were put into place. (And that's not bad for a set with usual t5ers Xin and oldman taking a set off)
