I'd say bottom feeding is more harmful than helpful for the game. Esp for people who shun land trading as some big bad thing... I'd say bottom feeding is worse. There is less risk and it hurts new people which is a double negative right there.

Someone needs to have a public open to all alliances hosting site otherwise some of the smaller alliances or alliances with a lack of programmers would suffer and may even die off.

However if a person HAD to they could just use a message board and eestats.com or earthgraphs.com although that would be a poor solution.

I appreciate the work you put in on boxcar pang. For me it's ok if you just leave it as is and work on the game instead. It works good enough as is to be a viable option.

I do think that people or other alliances need to think about the community over themselves a little bit.

That doesn't make sense, since nuking land first will increase SDI% for all remainder missiles.

If you chem then nuke you'll just get rid of empty acres... where as to cause the most damage it would be wise to nuke then chem to maximize damage. As long as his SDI isn't crazy high you don't need to worry about the SDI% going up. By the looks of it he doesn't have high SDI.

Detmer LaF's new netting strategy is to war--> farm--> jump. They are still a netting alliance just have evolved (no pun intended) to using war as a tool of net gaining.

Anyways if you want pure netgain go with Omega. Good people, and from what I hear they don't recruit people recruit them :p

The answer to if any allies contribute once dead is: no.

Once a country is dead it no longer contributes to the alliance. You used to be able to steal tech from a dead country, you can no longer do that either. I've asked several people on this topic before including pang so I'm confident on my answer!
