Lol. I was inactive the last two weeks with my third restarts that lost 14b bushels. Weird set end that happened to all of us tho. I think you may have missed the thread about billions of our bushels being destroyed but it's a bit of a funny set to call people out haha.

I'd be trolling to say the win deserves an asterisk tho. You named the thread wrong tho. It's supposed to say congrats NBK. You guys should have been on for the win by my estimation. Take nothing away from a good set.

Also, congrats smegma on having a string set to himself on earth graphs. Last set proper is 2 sets ago on earthgraphs. And there is a set in the middle where smegma won all top 16!

Lol no. Your buildings per turn should be somewhere in the ball park of the sq rt of your land goal divided by 2.

As in, if you actually wanted to build a million acres, √(1,000,000)/2=500 BPT. I'm sure that's not what smegma had but if you actually had intentions of building it you'd wanna be around there. I don't think he probably had intentions of ever building it tho. I'm not sure if building that many acres is really worth it without a longer set time, but I just threw it out there to help in the future for all haha

Yeah I've done around 16 countries across a couple sets around there. About 350 is prime but you kind of have to coax up to it or else your broke ass might be not about to build 1400 acres in 4 turns. I usually do something like 8 turns of CS and one turn of buildings from 100 BPT to my goal. Sometimes less sometimes more depending on how flush I am.

The reason why the answer is no to that is actually related to my message above. Long story short, if you spent the first say 1980 turns of a set to shoot to 500 BPT, youd be too broke to build and would end up cashing turns to build frequently, as much as half of your turns per day would be cashing until you hit around 70 to 120k acres to cover (meaning your income from 1 turn is enough to build 1 turn).

So that fact that a very good player will be around 100k acres plus when they finish building CS, you're gonna want to go a bit lower.
