actually land:land is almost completely phased out. it only now applies to extreme situations for most tags.

i dont see how if you guys banded together you could have a significant alliance. you really only need 20-25 people and you just have to sign pacts with the right people to protect your interests. If you like to war even better you can align yourself with someone to fight alongside with

well all im saying is alliance has 700 coutnries and the political climate is very stagnant. even a tag "FFA" of 40-80 of you guys would mix things up enough no matter what you did as a tag

I'm 99% certain SoF will have 2 Top 10 finishes and yes they were both techers. I am also fairly confident in a 3rd, but none of these 3 countries received FA or buyouts of anysort and will not be receiving them either

I never said that evo finishes weren't legit, I said someone in evo told me #10 was not legit, and i made an assumption as to what they meant by that

I wasn't trying to come of as harsh and an ass but maybe i did. at SoF there has been a massive recruiting drive of old vets to get the number to where it is. the assertion of the original post was no doubt that SoF is too large you can't dispute that. But i could just as easily assert that all the other tags are too small and they are doing a bad job recruiting their old vets and that is far worse for the game. will SoF stay at 100 members? who knows, but i dont see what the point of this thread is....

i think everyone in this forum can agree that we want more players, but SoF goes out and does it and now they are too big? Should we all collectively start a new clan for new players and collectively give them NAP? or where do you expect the new players to come from and what tag do you expect them to play in? wont all the tags just become too big? is that really a problem if we had 14 100 member tags?

the point i was trying to make was that there are more pressing issues to discuss, like bringing back tags like WoG. imo bringing back WoG would drastically change the political dynamic in this game and would be really good for the game

so aside from the RD countries in the top 10, can I assume that everyone else is going to play fair?

this thread has no merit. tertius if you were in that 100 member alliance i seriously doubt you would still be making this post.

i would also say that sof could be around 85-90 members in a couple sets when some of the deadweight gets bored and leaves but that would be a lean 85-90 members. no straw as some of you would say.

maybe you should spend your time bringing wog back to play maybe it will have a bigger positive impact cause this is just useless babble that wont solve anything

oh plus there might be some evo buyouts or fa chains to get to t10.

i can say with certainty that sof will not be a part of any funny business this time around. at least of any organized sort.

T10 will be higher than that imo. if those 50k/40k rd countries dont hit 200-220M ill be really surprised. that leaves like 7 spots for the rest of us. if i had to guess id say out of those 7 id be really surprised if they werent all techers given the tech market this set

Its a shame nobody has volunteered to war against SoF next set.

SoF has conceded the fact that quite possibly "in the best interest of the game" we may have to net every other set even if its against our wishes.

we've tried to be diplomatic about it, (full disclosure etc) that we are looking for a war next set and its a shame that nobody wants to return the favour and stepped up. If we have to net way more often then we would like why do the netting alliances still feel like they have the right to net set after set? shouldn't they war on occasion "for the good of the game?"
