Damn, well in that case I was pretty lucky hehe. I don't get the point in killing all-x all defensive countries

I think most of the people who get suicided on either double tap or more, or they grab once every 12 hours or something, or they do harmful spy ops or they must be recognized from previous resets through their country name or something.

I was #55 last set. I was not in GDI, I grabbed a bunch of people (nobody more then once), didn't get suicided on. Stop complaining and play :) Oh and nice ammount of land, but I'm more impressed with networth. I wanna get 30M+!

That's true Rockman, I didn't think about DR. I wasn't only thinking about being able to grab more land but basicly having more turns available for grabbing and stockpiling.

But now that we're talking about DR, I think it should be looked into for express, I think I've encountered countries in DR that have not been grabbed for over 12 hours, maybe almost 24 and since this is an express server DR should perhaps fade off in like 6 hours or something.

I just want to be able to play more turns per reset. You could either make an express copy but that is twice as long or make one that has the same duration as express but where you get turns twice as fast.

I just thought that the natural development of Earth would someday lead to having all the clan tools/forums etc in-game. Basically everything boxcar has for example but accessible from the portal where you login to your country. I think it would help new players starting clans if it's just one click away instead of regging a clan hosting site in a different place.

Or some kind of cooperation with boxcar and ghqnet etc so that you can easily connect your account with those sites and make it easy to apply for clan sites.

What if we get another server that resets same dates as express, but instead of 4 min per turn its 2 min per turn.

Would be nice to be able to get to like 30-40k acres, and it would mean alot more action for those of us who can't get enough hehe.

I also think that as long as it's done by 1 person it's okay, but if several team up on one guy it doesn't belong in a single player server like express.

But then it should be clearer rules I think. Some people may just ask their allies in game for help. Is that okay? What if somebody looking for a kill just searches the news for somebody who is GSed/BRed down to then finish the job?

It's gonna be pretty hard allowing one kind and not the other. I like the unwritten 1 grab rule thats goin on in express though. If you double tap or more you run the risk of being killed. If you are one who does that then you better have tanks/troops and SDI or you're fluffed.

But the actual new players in some kind of protection, they can get it 1-2 times per day max or something. instead but the landfarms in a special tag that can be farmed. This way actual new players wont get farmed too much and we can still grab.

FSing an unprepared alliance is probably as lame as suiciding/killing in express. But then alliances are supposed to be prepared, if they get FSed they probably have bad/inactive leaders who could not foresee an attack.

Landgrabbing used to be a crucial skill but from what I see it's pretty much gone now, it's mostly all explorers or those grabbing in wars like MD vs SoL/RD. There are those grabbing clans that can retal just to get away with the building bonus but I don't think the damage makes it worth it compared to exploring.

But then again, perhaps there is a better way to solve this. Hopefully we will get new players from facebook and the app stores in the future anyway.

Haha sounds good. If it's possible to code a more advanced AI it could look for weakness in the grabbers. AB the ones with low on tanks, spy the ones with low spal etc.

Make them played by some AI and let us fight over them. I miss the old days where there were tons of countries to grab. Now there's like 50 untagged countries who are getting farmed to pieces and a bunch of clans all able to retal!

In the end you both lost hehe which is the funny part I guess and shows how stupid it all was. But IMO the one who got tripple tapped should just have killed you off and not ABed you to the ground just to give you the chance to kill him :)

Get an iPhone/Android app, connect with facebook so you can register with those one click buttons that connects it to a facebook account. Then do a little advertising on facebook. That would be sweet. Then we farm the fluff out of the new players who wont join our clans until they quit the game. :)

That's why you should never go with the same country name twice if you farm people like that.

But I don't really think anybody who double/tripple taps gets away with it. You'd have to be stupid to do that since it's so easy to suicide here, you get a few hundres turns to do some damage with hehe

Well I think they save the kill stats on the leaderboard so somebody is probably out for the #1 rank there hehe. If you can't netgain, you can always kill stuff. Just don't kill me
